FireHouse Docks at Possum Kingdom Lake

FireHouse Docks LLC is a locally owned company servicing the Possum Kingdom Lake area. Owned and operated by Jimmy Carter who grew up in Graford and has been in the fire service for over 25 years. While working as a full-time firefighter, Jimmy has always worked part-time in construction and fabrication.

With the demand of the dock industry at Possum Kingdom Lake, Jimmy wanted to create FireHouse Docks to fill the need of the community and create job opportunities for this area.

Although FireHouse Docks is a newly created business, it brings many years of construction and dock-building experience to serve you. The team that has been created at FireHouse Docks has over 60 years of fabrication experience with over half of those in the dock-building industry.

Our goal at FireHouse Docks is to work with the customer to build a quality product that they desire in a quick and timely manner while also providing job opportunities to the skilled professionals of our local community.

I’m Branden Waters, part owner of FireHouse Docks, and I’ve been proud to call this area home for thirty years. Though my family and I don’t live directly on the water, we’ve always enjoyed the outdoors and the local waterways, which inspired me to get into dock building. My wife and I raised our two sons here, and now that they’re in college and attending fire academy, I continue to focus on creating quality, custom docks that reflect the beauty and functionality of the waterfront lifestyle.
